This pie cost EIGHTY FIVE PENCE and the delightful aroma of gravy coming from inside means that this pie is destined for a quick larruping. Intensely full inside, easy on the eye with potatoes that are so sodden with gravy, they’re dark brown in colour. It was a touch dry and watery on the inside but steaming hot, so much so the foil tray burns a hole in my hand. They do a nice line in peas and gravy as well.
