The temperature is powerful and the crust is sublime; a touch of puff pastry yet light and soft in the mouth. The filling, consisting of ringlets of pink meat and mushy slabs of potato comes oozing out like a lazy river rolling out to sea, this is a pie which packs a real punch. Much like the patrons of nearby car parks, who appear to be actually punching each other in a squabble over a parking space as I return to the car.
