The pie itself is full flavoured and is essentially mince, mince and more mince, not that the descriptor in the shop described it as anything other than just PIE. The crust is dense and of the standard oblong shape with a big wide rim and thinner, tapered base. If I was permanently exiled down South I’d be slavering over these in the absence of anything Northern.
