The pie raises the temperature of my palm and the unmistakable aroma of pie invades my nostrils like a soothing lullaby. I'm like Malcolm the Mountie but instead of always getting my hands on much lamented Labatts, I scoff pies and I always get there in the end. It has big chunky meat pieces and a sweet gravy taste to it, the crust rim is a touch crumbly but the rest of the pastry is re-assuringly soft and golden.
