Helen’s bakery in Sheffield produces a steak and potato pie where the crust disintegrates when removed from the tray. It expires in my fingers into a dozen pieces. Just as well it was sold cold as there could have been serious repercussions had I attempted to eat it with my bare hands. However, crust disaster aside, this was errmm..different. A load of cheesy mash in one half of the pie and two whopping chunks of steak in the other giving it an almost cottage pie type feel to it.
