I like my meat and potato pies but this is very different. An appetising prospect packed with tomatoes and shallots and a cheesy mash top which perhaps made it feel more like a cottage pie. Consequently it gave way a little in the oven due to not being fully encased but the extra ingredients make it a worthy if alternative pie.
