The best compliment I can give here is that it didn't feel like there was something missing......There is a solid shortcrust pastry with a soft almost lattice top crust. Big slabs of potato laced with butter, seasoning and a bit of onion in there. If the butter pie sometimes has a flaw it's that it can be a bit sickly but this is a beauty
