Upon dismantling this beast, I feel slightly underwhelmed at the lack of meat content and quickly up-end the lid onto a plate to find out where it is hiding, burning my hands on the casing and spilling gravy all over the tea towel as I go. Eventually I get it all on a plate and it manages to adequately cover the surface area despite my concerns over low meat content. It’s top crust only (BOOOO!!) with crisp outer layers and a soggy interior. Skimpy meat levels and hardly “boozy” but passable and there’s delicious gravy all over the show. The cost is over two quid and you have to cook it yourself! I’m afrayed I've had better.
