That irresistible Sunday morning moment when you walk to the shop for a paper and get a faint whiff of pastry coming from the hot food display. Then you find out that they’re half price at just 50p. A funny Sunday lunch but I’m not going to pass this one up courtesy of my local Co-Op. nUnbeatable value for a pie which does leave a little airspace and have a crust that’s a bit thick and crumbly. Yet tastewise it leaves little to be desired and is digested in minutes. All hail the whoopsie shelf!!
