There is a quintessentially Northern manner, the hot pots look huge but I opt for the meat and potato. The sticky top crust appears to be independent from the rest of the pie but somehow holds together. It is noot the densest filling but lovely golden potatoes are interspersed with mild doses of pepper and lots of sloppy gravy soaking into the doughy crust interior
