Thick and decorative with a sleek leopard skin look to it, one pastry spot presumably denoting the pork and stilton flavour. It is hollow at the sides but still room for a large expanse of meat encased by another half inch of jelly. I can’t actually taste that much stilton in here. The meat is slightly less coarse than the Mowbray standard, appetising in parts, which could work in its favour but again I suspect points to cheapness
