The pie stall looks sparse but as I stand there fretting another tray of hot ones is gloriously delivered. They only do steak and meat and potato but there’s also a huge plate meat pie out on display the size of Jodrell Bank. I don’t know how much it costs but I’m slavering like a Rottweiler here. The top crust is thin, almost translucent and has a pork pie type feel to it. There's lots of stringy stewing steak giving it a rich, succulent meaty taste. A great price (95 pence!) although it is unfortunately a touch on the small side
