A Ryan & Sons

10 March 2012 Standalone legacy review
A Ryan & Sons
A Ryan & Sons is easy to locate from the lingering queue spilling out on to the High Street. I gaze disbelievingly through the window at the amazing range of plate lasagnes and cottage pies. There’s meat from floor to ceiling within its low roof confines with wall to wall pies of every description including game and duck pork pies, venison, chicken and leek and the omnipresent steak and kidney.nAs the snake of people start to slither indoors I see there’s another ten people queuing inside and five butchers rushing around like ferrets fulfilling orders. Ryans = the meat eaters paradise. Simply loaded with the most succulent cuts of beef. Bit of a shocker this, but you can actually taste the red wine – and it complements the beef perfectly
