Meadowfresh Derbyshire Pasty

This is more of an unfeasibly large and appetising meal. It is a tiger skin pastry, not too flaky and doesn’t darken too much in the oven. Piled high with stewing steak, large slabs of potato and the less familiar content of onion, swede, peas and carrot. It is moist enough inside to keep the meat and vegetables juicy and married together, to make a fine symphony of superb ingredients.
