George Middlemiss Pork Pie

A dark, crispy heavily glazed pastry which is a little tough on the gnashers in parts but worth biting through to get to the fine, cured sausage meat and bountiful supply of jelly encased within. Lightly seasoned to give stronger focus on the pork flavour which is tender and delicious but the jelly is the star of the show here.
