Blackwell's Pork Pie
8 September 2012
Blackwell’s produce a solid Smoggie growler which doesn't look that deep from the top but from the cross section there seems adequate volume to it. The pork is chewy in texture offering a bit of resistance but still easy enough to throw down the old gullet. I took the decision to reheat this as it was served warm and the crust detached, blown off by thepockets of steam bursting through the funnel in the top but the crust redeems itself due to the melted jelly making it splendidly moist
